A native of Western Washington, Katherine is currently one of only 5 USHJA Certified Trainers in the state of Washington, and one of only 10 in the entire Zone 9.
She enjoys helping her students achieve success at the shows and realize their equestrian goals. With a strong belief in team work and goal oriented riding, Katherine’s focus is on teaching riders and their horses’ one step at a time, and turning out a polished and confident product.
As owner of Sundance Equestrian for the past 18 years, Katherine continues to enjoy watching her students and horses succeed on the show circuit while sharing her love of the horses and a passion for riding.
Chelsea grew up in Western Washington where she began riding at the age of 5. She was eager to begin jumping, and loved riding in schooling shows at every chance.
She has been fortunate enough to be able to ride with some of the top trainers in Western Washington as well as riding in several George Morris clinics and competing in “A” shows in Washington, Oregon, California and British Columbia.
Chelsea enjoys teaching lessons to students of all abilities, ages, and disciplines and is fortunate enough to own an Oldenburg filly, "Maia," whom she enjoys bringing along and has big hopes for her in the hunter and jumper rings. Chelsea continues her showing career while riding at Sundance as well as continuing her horsemanship education by attending clinics during the “off” season at the barn.
